How can I become a seller?

You can become a seller if you have previously made a purchase on sisterjane.com and you are based in the UK. Simply choose a resell username and provide the email address associated with your account to gain access to our resell platform, here!

How do I list an item?

Listing an item is easy and straightforward. Start by selecting the pieces you want to sell from ‘My Wardrobe’ section in your account. Upload clear, high-quality images that accurately show the garment's condition, and include a detailed description.

We recommend taking photos of the item on a hanger, against a plain background, with no other objects in the frame. We also suggest taking vertical images of the item. The dimensions you need to follow are 750px × 1000px.

When it comes to pricing your items, you have full control. However, we recommend listing your item at half the original purchase price if it has any minor faults.

For accuracy, please refer to our condition guide before listing to ensure the item's condition is properly represented. 

Once you successfully submit your item, our team will review and either approve or reject your listing. In cases where your item is rejected (e.g. images are not clear or do not meet the guidelines) you will be notified via email, but don’t worry, you can easily edit and re-submit your item! 

What should I include in the description?

When listing your item, be sure to include a detailed description that highlights the garment's condition. Any flaws should not only be shown in the images but also clearly mentioned in the description. If the item has been altered, this information must be included as well.

How do I prepare the shipment of my sold item?

Congrats, you sold your item! Now it’s time to pack and ship your order. Make sure your item is clean and washed before shipping it. Use packaging that is efficient to protect the item you are sending - of course, you do not need brand new packaging to do so, you can utilise material from previous purchases. 

When should I send my item once it is sold?

Once your item is sold you will receive an email notification with the shipping label and QR code. From that moment, you have seven days to ship your order. We recommend sending it as soon as possible to avoid your order being automatically cancelled.

What forms of payments do you provide?

You will receive a gift card for the full selling price of your item five days after it has been delivered to the buyer, provided no issues are reported. The gift card can be redeemed on www.sisterjane.com

What items can I find in Sister Jane Carousel?

In our platform you can discover pre-loved Sister Jane and Ghospell items, once cherished by our lovely community. To ensure authenticity, sellers must have originally purchased their items directly from sisterjane.com to be eligible for resale.

Who is covering the postage expenses of items?

Buyers are responsible for covering shipping costs, with one delivery fee per seller. If you purchase items from multiple sellers, you'll be charged a separate shipping fee for each. Once an order is placed, the seller will receive an email notification with a shipping label and a QR code, making the shipping process quick and easy.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Unfortunately, items purchased from our resell platform can not be exchanged or returned. All sales are final. 

What if something is wrong with my order?

If you receive an item that doesn't match the item listed on our platform, please report the issue in detail to carousel@sisterjane.com within three days of receiving it, and we can review your case. Any issues reported after 3 days period cannot be escalated to the seller, as the payment will have already been processed.
